A hot tip
A good-sized, young dressage stallion who is not only charming but has exceedingly good type, gaits that couldn't be better and he's also highly rideable. Benaggio did an outstanding job at his 30-day test in Schlieckau in 2011 and then had very good results in basic tests for his age group.
His sire Benvenuto has the finest dressage bloodlines in his pedigree through the Grand Prix stallion Breitling W, Weltmeyer who influenced generations, and the stallion performance winner Lysander. After a brief interval in breeding and winning ribbons in youngster sport when he was young, he is now training in upper level dressage. The dam's side is also predestined for dressage: The dam's sire Dimaggio was a highly placed finalist in the 1999 Bundeschampionat in Warendorf and Champion of young horses in Great Britain. In 2000 he took the World Champion title for young horses in Arnheim/NED and became Champion of five-year olds in Great Britain.
Prince Thatch xx, who is found in the third generation, was able to confirm the high expectations that were placed on him as a sire who passes on exceptional rideability and he is also obviously very good for improving type. Not only in competition sport but also at the broodmare performance tests in the neighboring Hanoverian breeding area, his offspring show an amazing talent for dressage. His most well known offspring in the dressage ring were Piccolino/Klaus Husenbeth and Gestion Joker/Anky van Grunsven (NED).
