An extra class dressage candidate
Boney M was licensed in 2009 in Hanover. In 2010 he was awarded a premium at the licensing in Denmark and when he was presented again the following year at the age of four he became the Danish Champion Stallion. Highly modern looks, blessed with an outstanding sequence of movements in all three gaits, this young sire predestined for dressage successfully passed the 10 and 30-day tests in Vilhelmsborg, Denmark, where he earned the highest possible scores for rideability. In 2011 Boney M won the qualifier for the Championships in the class for four-year olds with a score of 9.0, then received an 8.9 in the semi-final and took second place in the Final under Anna Blomgreen with a score of 8.7.
His sire Belissimo M racked up one victory after the next early on in his career. He was Bundeschampion of German riding horses, took fifth in the WC and then became Vice Bundeschampion of dressage horses. He has meanwhile sired several Bundeschampions himself. With Belissimo's creative power, the Bolero line, which has been extremely influential in dressage horse breeding, has received important new impetus. The dam Walhalla is by Worldly I. Worldly I took his stallion performance test in 2000 in Adelheidsdorf which he finished as the Reserve Champion. In 2001, at the indoor show in Bremen, he took the riding horse champion title and in 2003 he was a highly placed finalist in the World Championships for young dressage horses in Verden. In the third generation you find the legendary Werther, one of the most successful sires in all of Germany (because of his versatile talents). In 1992 he had the honor of being crowned "Hanoverian Stallion of the Year".
