Winner of a qualifier for the Bundeschampionat 2010
Holstein jumper stallion par excellence, especially athletic and with a strong aura. Already at his licensing in 2007 in Neumünster, he received the best reviews and the breeding director, Dr. Thomas Nissen, declared him the best jumper at the licensing event (score: 10.0). This high esteem is also based on his performance oriented pedigree: His sire Catoki wins World Cup show jumping competitions under Philipp Weishaupt. He has been among the best in the German FN's predicted breeding value statistics for years. His dam High Light, who received a score of 10 for her free jumping at her broodmare performance test, adds valuable refinement bloodlines to his pedigree through Sir Shostakovich xx, who produced several sires for Trakehner breeding (such as Donaumonarch, Sir Chamberlain) as well as Holstein breeding (including Reserve Champion Seven Valleys, Stauffenberg). The granddam Zaletta is a State Premium mare and a daughter of Caletto II, who was a Holstein licensing winner. Her best daughter, Classic Touch, was the 1992 Olympic winner with Ludger Beerbaum.
Canoso took his 30-day test in 2008 in Prussendorf. Here he showed off his talents in jumping and received the sensational score of 9.50, which made him the best jumper stallion at the test. Canoso won first and many high placings in novice (A), elementary (L) and medium (M) level tests for young jumpers. In 2010 he won a qualifier for the Bundeschampionat with a score of 8.6. He now places in medium (M**) level show jumping tests. A good number of the offspring from his first crop received a premium.
