Modern Holsteiner with all options
When he was presented at the 2011 Holstein main licensing, Carnot had just the right amount of refinement when it comes to frame, good looks and manner of moving. His movements are relaxed and springy, marked by a high degree of elasticity. His walk and canter also meet the highest demands. At the jump he shows enormous ability, an ideal technique and bascule and is a top athelete with great prospects.
His sire Canto, the 2004 Holstein Champion Stallion, is by Canturo who competed with his Brazilian rider, Bernado Alves, in the Olympic Games in Athens, won the Grand Prix of Spruce Meadows, the Preis von Europa in Aachen and the Grand Prix of Madrid. With eight licensed sons so far, including the Champion Stallion Cantoblanco, Canto celebrated a great debut as a sire. He finished his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf as the Reserve Champion in jumping and went on to win medium (M) level classes for young show jumpers under Janne Frederike Meyer. The dam's sire Carry was a successful finalist in the Bundeschampionat and later won and placed in international advanced (S) level competitions. His son Carry Gold was awarded the I-a main premium in Oldenburg. Carry's son Chessmann became the 2007 Bundeschampion of six-year old show jumpers. The gray stallion Cassini I, found in the third generation, who was successful in international sport with Franke Sloothaak, is one of the absolute top jumper-makers.
Further information:
Cassini's most successful offspring are the 2006 World Champion, Cumano, ridden by Jos Lansink, and Eurocommerce Berlin with Gerco Schröder, team World Champion on the Dutch team, also in Aachen in 2006. Caretino, another hero in Holstein performance breeding, is found in the fourth generation.
Carnot comes from mare line 4847, a highly popular line that is the origin of more than 30 licensed stallions and first class State Premium mares, e.g. the full brothers Lancer I to III. Lancer III was very successful with Toni Hassmann in international sport. Other licensed stallions from this line are Cachas, Lados, Landsberg, No Limit, Ranger and Lican.
Licensed for Holstein, OS-International, Oldenburg, Westphalia and Rhineland as well as all Southern German and new German State Verbands.
