Champion Stallion of Hearts 2011
There was thundering applause for Cristall when he took the I-c premium at the Oldenburg licensing in 2011. We bred this stallion ourselves and he is simply outstanding when it comes to type and aura. He stands above the crowd because of his excellent gaits and first rate character. His trot and canter are impressive, always uphill with plenty of leverage, lots of freedom at the shoulder and maximum forward momentum. His walk is relaxed but energetic, covering a lot of ground, and at the jump his Holstein accents are quite obvious.
His pedigree combines the most popular main sires at our Gestüt: His sire Christ was also awarded a premium at the 2007 licensing in Verden. His first colts up for licensing in 2011 caught a lot of attention at various German licensing venues. The dam's sire Fürst Heinrich was a main premium winner when he was licensed in Oldenburg in 2002 and later became the celebrated World Champion of five-year old dressage horses in Verden in 2003. Within just a few years he turned into a star sire with more than 40 licensed sons and more than 70 State and Verband Premium mares. He also sired two Oldenburg Champion Stallions, Van the Man and Fürstenball. In 2011 an exceptional daughter named Woodlander Farouche, who was bred in England, took the World Champion title in the class for five-year old dressage horses in Verden. When bred to Landadel, the granddam Varida produced a mare named Valeria who became the dam of two licensed sons: Landesadel (by Lanacar, private stallion Bavaria) and Weltenadel (by Weltmeyer, State Stud Schwaiganger).
Further information:
In the third and fourth generations of his pedigree you find two half-Thoroughbred Holstein stallions, Famos and Benedictus. Holstein line 8846 originally belonged to the international Thoroughbred family 7. From this branch of Cerina xx (by Szczecin xx-Dorpat xx, etc.) came the licensed stallions Mr. Mc (private stallion Mecklenburg, Sachsen-Anhalt) and Rocco-Granada (State Stud Schwaiganger). The well-known Thoroughbred sire Absalon xx is also closely related to this branch.
