About Fürst Wilhelm Pedigree

A dressage crack with a perfect pedigree

A gleaming, black step master with fascinating looks. A superior presence and an arrangement of movement that would be hard to equal. Fürst Wilhelm won ribbons in tests for young riding horses as well as tests for young dressage horses. He took his 30-day test in Neustadt/Dosse in 2009, finishing with clearly over average scores. His first foals have clearly inherited his type and many have received premiums.

Predestined for dressage, Fürst Wilhelm is a good example of up-to-date breeding. His sire, Fürst Heinrich, who left the breeding scene at an early age, was the winner of his 30-day test in 2001, Champion Stallion of four-year old main premium winners at the 2002 Oldenburg licensing and celebrated World Champion of five-year old dressage horses in 2003 in Verden. In just a few years he became one of the top sires with over 40 licensed sons and more than 70 State Premium and Verband Premium daughters. In 2011, an absolutely exceptional Fürst Heinrich daughter named Woodlander Farouche, who was bred in England, became the World Champion of five-year old dressage horses in Verden.

Fürst Heinrich as the sire and then Sandro Hit, De Niro and Rubinstein I in the background, plus the unforgotten DLG mare Love Story (by Freiherr) bred by Josef Wernke who went down in breeding history as the dam of Love Story II (by Akzent II), Oldenburg Champion Mare 1991, - what a pedigree!

Further information:

Sandro Hit was the 1999 Bundeschampion and World Champion of six-year old dressage horses under Dr. Ulf Möller and has been trained to Grand Prix. In the meantime, several of his offspring have become Bundeschampions, e.g. Sandro Classic, Show Star, San Rubin and others. Among his more than 100 licensed sons, Sieger Hit, Soliman de Hus, Sir Willson, Sandrit, Stedinger, Stoiber and Samba Hit II were Champion Stallions. When bred to Fürst Heinrich, the granddam Lady Devinja gave birth to a colt later licensed named Froschkönig who also successfully competed in championships. In the third generation you find De Niro, a I-a main premium winner in Oldenburg. De Niro successfully made his debut in Grand Prix dressage tests at the age of seven. Under his trainer and master rider, Dolf-Dietram Keller, he won the Blue Band at the Hamburg Derby and the German Championships for Professional Riders twice. Dancier (Champion Stallion of the Hanoverian licensing 2004), De Janeiro (1st Reserve Champion of the 2003 Hanoverian licensing; State Stud Celle and Moritzburg), Desert Moon (top priced stallion of the 2001 licensing in Verden), Desperados (winner of the 2010 Dressage Derby), Danone I (Champion Stallion in Sweden), Danone II, Dionysos, Donautanz and Depardieu are only a few of his more than 50 licensed sons. In 2008 he was honored with the "Hanoverian Stallion of the Year" award. The great granddam, Lady’s Rubin, is the dam of the licensed stallion Dream Catcher by Day Dream. Each following generation has a top sire: Rubinstein I, Pik Bube I, Freiherr, Admiral I, Lavendel and Agram. Fürst Wilhelm comes from the Hanoverian performance family 35/Schonkleid (by Schober-Gruß-Almenkind I-Negustus-Juwelier-Arno-Judex-Starpion-Edelmann) that is maintained in Wendland. This line was able to establish itself especially in Oldenburg and is the origin of the licensed stallions Controller (private stallion Oldenburg, Thuringia), Dinar (State Stud Celle), Feinbrand (private stallion Oldenburg, Baden Württemberg, Netherlands, USA, 1991 I-a main premium winner), Flagranti, Freytag, Grandezzo (private stallion Bavaria), La Piko S (private stallion Oldenburg, Bavaria), Landfürst (State Stud Celle, private stallion Oldenburg, Holstein, Hanover), Landscafe, Lauriston (private stallion Oldenburg, Netherlands, Great Britain), Levantino H (private stallion Oldenburg), Nariston (private stallion Oldenburg, Thuringia, Hanover), Quality Star (Czech Republic), Rosall (USA), Rubin Extra, Sadenio (private stallion Oldenburg, Brandenburg), Saturday (private stallion Rhineland-Pfalz), Sir Diamond (private stallion Rhineland), Special Agent, Universal (private stallion Holstein) and the internationally successful show jumpers Andorra 2/Alwin Schockemöhle, Amazing Grace/Alexandra Klatte as well as Wiebke Stampehl, Chip Chap/Björn Nagel and also Karl Brocks, Diamonds Daylight/Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst, Fiorucci 6/Simone Koch, the Derby winner Wendy 18/
Achaz by Buchwaldt and World Famous K/Jürgen Ernst as well as the Champion Mares of the Oldenburg Elite Broodmare Shows in Rastede Love Story II (1991) and Love Story V (2004).
