About Graf Stakkato Pedigree

An extra class jumper stallion

A jumper specialist of impressive stature, bursting with power and blessed with maximum ability. Graf Stakkato was one of the highlights at the 2007 OS licensing in Vechta. In 2008 he passed his stallion performance test Vilhelmsborg, Denmark and was then schooled for sport. He won a qualifier for the Danish Championships and took fourth place in the Final. In 2009 he took the Vice Champion title. In 2010 and 2011 he collected ribbons in tests for youngsters in international classes, also placing in Falsterbo (Sweden) and at the World Championships for young horses in Zangersheide as well as Lanaken. The zenith of his still young career in sport in 2011 was reaching the Final in the class for six-year olds at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf.

His sire Graf Top is without doubt the most outstanding of the many Graf Grannus sons. Stationed since 1997 at Celle's insemination station in Süstedt, he has sired ten licensed sons so far, among which Graf Moritz/Dirk Klaproth in particular stands out in sport. The Hanoverian Stallion of the Year title was awarded to Graf Top in 2011. On the dam's side of the pedigree, Stakkato follows, one of the greatest heros in modern day jumper breeding. A Bundeschampion and internationally successful for years under Eva Bitter, he has ranked number one in the German FN's predicted breeding value statistics for jumper sires for years. When bred to Lordanos, the granddam Piria produced a licensed son named Libor. Her sire Prestige Pilot strongly influenced the herd of mares maintained by the Klausing family and sired many top mares and licensed sons.
