About Jazzmate Pedigree

A noble stallion from the 2010 NRW licensing

A bombastic chestnut stallion with a bright silhouette, he has a strong step-off with an energetic lift-off and is supple in every phase. Jazzmate has been richly endowed with an excellent walk and canter and his gaits, which have perfect rhythm, are close to ideal. Jazzmate took his 30-day test in Münster-Handorf in 2011 which he passed with over average scores. He also has high placings in tests for young riding horses.

His sire, Jazz, an international Grand Prix winner, was a member of the Dutch dressage team at the World Equestrian Games in Jerez de la Frontera in 2002. The grandsire, Cocktail, was also highly successful in international dressage sport with Anky van Grunsven. Cocktail goes back through Purioso to the line founding stallion Furioso II who was strongly and widely spread in the Netherlands through his sons Purioso and Voltaire.

The dam, Elite Mare Lady Devinja, is also the dam of the licensed stallion Froschkönig (by Fürst Heinrich) who was successfully ridden in championships by Sebastian Langehanenberg. She is a half-sister of the successful dressage stallion, Dream Catcher. The dam's side of the pedigree contains the German Derby winner De Niro and Rubinstein I, both Grand Prix winners as well as the advanced (S) level dressage winner and multi-talent sire, Pik Bube I.

Jazzmate comes from the Hanoverian performance family 35/Schonkleid (by Schober-Gruß). This dam line is also the origin of Fürst Wilhelm who is stationed at Gestüt Sprehe as well.
