Champion Stallion 2015

He bears a great name: Longines was winner of the jumpers at the ZfdP main licensing in Kreuth in 2015. There he demonstrated phenomenally his jumping-ability – at its best in view of scope, technique and bascule. The basic gaits are as well striking, particularly his extraordinary canter. His coveted sire Los Angeles was only a short time in breeding: he was main premium champion stallion with emphasis on jumping in Oldenburg in 2012, won tests for young show jumpers at novice (A), elementary (L) and medium (M) level and produced four licensed sons so far.

The dam Celine passed a very good mare performance test (score for jumping: 9.5) and delivered the licensed son Highlight when bred to Cornet Obolensky. In the last years her sire Calico achieved victories and placings in the international show jumping up to advanced (S) level and, by now, presented three licensed sons, who all were awarded a premium. The Thoroughbred Barnaul xx, found in third generation and time-tested in breeding, competed successfully in show jumping up to medium (M) level after finishing his racing career in Poland. He produced seven licensed sons (Bachur, Barsac, Barinello, Barkeeper, Butler as well as Boy Carthago I and II). Barinello was celebrated reserve champion at the Holstein licensing in 2000; Barsac was premium stallion in 2002. Furthermore, Barnaul xx is meanwhile dam's sire of demanded upcoming sires. The fabulously bred Landego, found in fourth generation in the line of ancestors, left the breeding scene much too early, but left several top-class horses for show jumping, such as Life is Life/Elmar Gundel. Over Farnese, Mephisto and Ladykiller xx the further generations are perfectly ensured in view of performance.

Further Information:

The Holsteiner performance line 1333, which is especially popular at the island of Fehmarn, is also known for 25 licensed stallions such as the famous sires Alibi (DEN), Amboss, Antonio (Holst. Verb., NED), Bavaro, Caletto’s Son (SUI), Corvinius (private stallion Bavaria), Damsey (private stallion Han.), Diamant de Revel (private stallion Oldbg., OS-licensing winner 2015), Lavita (USA), Plesman (NED), Rapallo (private stallion Mecklbg.) and Rhode Island (private stallion Hess.) as well as the internationally successful show jumpers Balessini (HUN, AUT), Casanova 76/Hauke Luther and Colino 8/Rudolf Könemund.

Approved for Westphalia and Rhineland, Mecklenburg, OS-International as well as German Sport Horse, Breeding association for German Horses after succeeding in the performance test.
