Son of two world stallions

From the far too short breeding career of Desperados FRH after his world career in the dressage ring comes the type-fine young sire Der König. Still youthful in appearance, Der König can already show off his charm, long legs and strong movements. Typical of Desperados, Der König's stride is of particular quality.
His sire Desperados FRH, who died in early 2020, was at home on the world stage of dressage for many years. Under Kristina Bröring-Sprehe, he won team gold at the Olympic Games as well as World and European Championships and was the most successful dressage horse in the world in 2016. At the same time, the son of De Niro, who himself led the WBFSH dressage sire ranking for years, set breeding milestones. His 38 licensed sons include Destacado FRH, the winner of the 2020 Nuremberg Burgpokal Final, and the Grand Prix-winning Olympic stallion Destano. In total, Desperados can already point to 67 S-successful offspring.

The dam Jazzmine is a Hanoverian daughter of the Dutch stallion Jazz, who himself was successful in Grand Prix dressage and was listed several times in the WBFSH ranking as the most successful dressage sire in the world. Currently, the Jazz son Johnson leads this ranking. Jazzmine has already produced the Warendorf State Stud stallion Florestanus in connection with Florestan I. The granddam Wironda is a direct daughter of the Hanoverian stallion legend Weltmeyer out of a daughter of the strong moving thoroughbred Roncalli xx. Wironda produced the licensed stallion Vancouver L in a mating to Vivaldi. Wironda is also the maternal half-sister of the private stallion Bonheur and the successful advanced (S) level dressage stallion Brentana, both by Brentano II. Many S-successful dressage horses such as Don Pleasure, Don Fangar, Dark Rose de Fangar or the Grand Prix mare Championesse 13 belong to the direct relationship.
