About Baggio

In the ideal type of a stallion, Baggio knows how to captivate the observer. Long legs, outstanding type precision and a modern habitus meet in an ideal constellation with a correct, but also sufficiently substantial conformation that enables maximum power development in every situation. The movement sequence in trot and canter is of exceptional quality for a show jumper. At the jump, Baggio reveals almost unlimited ability with breathtaking speed. Having been gently built up, Baggio took off internationally and in the advanced class under Tobias Meyer with many top placings after winning top marks in tests for young show jumpers in 2023. He can fascinate with his seemingly unlimited possibilities at every appearance on the show jumping course.

Eight of Baggio's sons from his first two crops have already been licensed, and Baggio White was also awarded a premium in Münster at the end of 2023. With the start of the new year, Baggio was able to demonstrate his breeding potential once again and produced the celebrated champion stallion at the Austrian licensing in Stadl-Paura.

As a son of the Olympians Baloubet du Rouet and Carthago from the successful Holstein line 104a, his sire Brantzau provides a high-quality genetic performance component. Born in France, he moved to Germany as the champion stallion at the licensing in St. Lô and is now placed in the advanced level. 

Dam's sire Casall is the figurehead of Holsteiner breeding. With his permanent rider Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, he competed in various championships and won countless Grand Prix. In Germany alone, 315 Casall children are successful at advanced (S) level, and Casall is currently ranked sixth among the world's best show jumping sires (WBFSH). Concerto II, the third generation of the pedigree, is no less valuable. The Contender son managed to produce a series of top horses in just three years of breeding. Baggio's dam U-Charlotta is a half-sister to four internationally successful show jumpers and has already produced two offspring that have proven themselves in the international youngster tour. She comes from the Holstein line 503, which also produced the unforgotten Livius for Peter Luther.
