Visually, Damour Gold is the spitting image of his talented and willing sire Dancier Gold FRH. This raises great expectations, which Damour Gold was able to live up to at his first important appearance at the Hanoverian licensing in Verden as an acclaimed premium stallion. A typey moving horse with riding horse points in the coveted dark jacket, that is Damour Gold - a name to remember.
The sire Dancier Gold FRH effectively continues the stallion line of his grandfather De Niro and his sire Dancier. Five of his sons from two crops were licensed, and in December 2023 he made his mark with two premium stallions at the Hanoverian main licensing. The Grand Prix aspirant Dancier Gold FRH is also particularly talented in sport. He won the qualifications for the Bundeschampionat for German dressage horses with top scores. At the 2021 World Championships for Young Horses in Verden, he took third place in the qualifier and sixth place in the highly competitive final. Under Sabine Rueben, the model pupil won his first advanced (S) level class in 2022, followed by international victories in Intermédiaire I dressage tests in 2023.
The still young dam Samurei is a daughter of the main premium winner San Amour, himself the sire of numerous Grand Prix horses such as Gut Wettlkam's Stand by Me (Lisa Müller) and a popular dam's sire in the pedigrees of modern performance horses. The second dam, Rhapsodie, is by the international Grand Prix winner Romanov (Hans-Peter Minderhoud), who himself is a descendant of the Rudilore stallion dynasty bred by Harli Seifert. With Just Do it and Falkland, who was successful under Meredith-Michaels Beerbaum up to 1.60 m jumping, there is a shot of jumping blood in the background. Damour Gold comes from the Hanoverian line of Schildamsel, family of the licensed stallions Wynton (Grand Prix with Madeleine Witte-Vrees), More and More, Abhang I - III, Achenbach, Cockpit, Quattromani and Full Speed. This is also the family of the Grand Prix horses Fabergé (2011 European Championships with Beatriz Ferrer Salat), Without Adoubt (Sven-Guenther Rothenberger) and Destination (Bianca Kasselmann). Paul Schockemöhle's unforgotten successful partner Deister also came from this line.
