About Don Vivaldi

Weissena dam line gilded in Hanover

Significant in every respect and beyond any doubt, this is how Don Vivaldi presented himself at the Hanoverian main licensing in Verden. On the triangular course, on the lunge line and in the free-running presentation - he constantly showed off his powerful gaits and self-carriage and was celebrated as a premium stallion. Don Vivaldi is a highly talented dressage stallion with a particularly performance-oriented bloodline, a blessing for breeding.

His sire Dancier Gold FRH effectively continues the stallion line of his grandfather De Niro and his sire Dancier. Five of his sons from two crops were licensed, and in December 2023 he made his mark with two premium stallions at the Hanoverian main licensing. The Grand Prix aspirant Dancier Gold FRH is also particularly talented in sport. He won the qualifications for the Bundeschampionat for German dressage horses with top scores. At the 2021 World Championships for Young Horses in Verden, he took third place in the qualifier and sixth place in the highly competitive final. Under Sabine Rueben, the model pupil won at advanced (S) level for the first time in 2022, followed by international victories in Intermédiaire I dressage tests in 2023.

The dam Vienna Weissena is a daughter of the KWPN stallion Vivaldi, who has established a widely branched stallion line that is in full bloom both in the Netherlands and in Germany. With Cennin, Dream Boy and Desperado, three of his sons made the leap into the Dutch championship team. The second dam, Weissena Pur MR, is a daughter of Grand Prix winner Rohdiamant and has produced several talented dressage horses such as Superhit MR (by Serano Gold), who competes at advanced level in the USA. Weissena Pur's sister Die Insel, by Diamond Hit, won Grand Prix competitions under Katrin Bettenworth, while her brother Welton's Pumuckl (by Welton) was successful in advanced (S**) level dressage competitions with Juliane Brunkhorst. Rohdiamant is followed by Inselfuerst, Angelino, Futuro, Chronos and Folkert as the sire of the eponymous foundation mare Weissena in the valuable maternal bloodline. This mare line belongs to the silverware of Oldenburg breeding, from which the dynasty of Olympic champion Weihegold (Isabell Werth) and all her successful offspring also originated.
