About Galandos

Dressage offspring for discerning tastes, premium stallion at the 34th Mecklenburg licensing days in Redefin. Galandos presents himself in a top modern appearance, clearly predestined for the large dressage arena. His movements are full of rhythm, always well balanced and he also demonstrates exceptional class in walk and canter.

His sire Galaxy is successful up to advanced (S) level under Kristin Biermann and is being prepared for international Grand Prix sport. The oldest offspring are successful in basic sport. Dam's sire Fürst Wilhelm was Oldenburg State Champion (6-year-old) in 2012, placed at the Bundeschampionat and has been successful up to advanced (S) level. Of his 14 licensed sons, the 2015 state and national champion, Fürst William I, stands out in particular. His granddam Destiny produced a licensed stallion by Collier (licensed at Redefin 2017). Her sire Desperados was a medal guarantor for the German championship team for many years. In 2016, he won team gold and individual bronze medals at the Rio Olympics under Kristina Bröring-Sprehe, was German Champion in Balve in 2014 and 2015, team silver at the London Olympics in 2012, European Team Champion in Herning in 2013 and World Team Champion in Caen/FRA in 2014. In 2015, they won team bronze and two individual silver medals at the European Championships in Aachen.

The great-granddam Juventas was herself successful in basic sport and is a daughter of the famous Juventus, who was a multiple national dressage champion. Galandos represents the Mecklenburg line 16/Sekundantin. The licensed stallions Exclusive (licensing Redefin 2009), Lord Dream (Ldb. Redefin, licensing winner Redefin 2002) and Sandmann (Ldb. Redefin) as well as the internationally successful show jumpers Trafajur/Andre Plath and Traumjule/Heiko Schmidt result from this line.
