About Grand Galaxy

The jet-black, beautifully marked Nobelmann Grand Galaxy captured the hearts of the experts at the 2023 licensing in Münster/Handorf with his repertoire of movements, which he always performed with great cadence and rhythm, and was celebrated as a premium stallion. His generous yet practical uphill canter deserves special mention. Grand Galaxy can be predicted to have a particularly promising career under saddle. Coming from a performance-oriented line of the stud's own breeding program, he has what it takes to become an important breeding stallion.

Born in the Netherlands, his sire Galaxy is himself a son of the Danish champion stallion Grand Galaxy Win, who was able to produce lasting values in a short breeding career. Galaxy is also first-class on his dam's side through Sir Sinclair, Donnerhall and the Otrichta mare line. Galaxy herself is currently successful in medium (M**) level dressage tests under Kristin Biermann and is well on the way to establishing herself in the advanced class. In breeding, Galaxy turned out to be a veritable "foal maker". He won several top prizes and was awarded the 1c main premium.

Grand Galaxy's dam, St.Pr.St. Donna Ballarina, is a two-time stallion dam and daughter of the internationally successful Grand Prix stallion Donnerball (Kristina Böring-Sprehe), who himself is also bred to high quality with Donnerhall, Alabaster, Freiherr and Prinz Miro from the Centrum line. Grand Galaxy's sister Diamond's Ballerina (by Diamond Hit) is currently placed in advanced (S) level dressage competitions under Beatrice Arturi. The second dam, Fürstin Anna Maria, daughter of the stamp stallion Fürst Heinrich, is also a two-time stallion dam to Delgados (by Desperados) and Kaiser Heinrich (by Kaiser Karl). The third dam Weltmarie, descended from Weltmeyer and Argentan I, is the dam of the licensed Intermédiaire I-successful stallion Bellemeier (by Belissimo M). The Hanoverian mare line of Almka also produced the licensed stallions Baloukato, Dream Classic and Ashford.
