Large-lined, striking and yet so blood marked and noble, powerful in movement with great leverage and a lot of uphill, free jumping of rarely experienced explosiveness with almost limitless ability - this was Baggio White's march through the Westphalian main licensing in Münster-Handorf in 2023 to the award as premium stallion. This brings back memories, as this is exactly how Baggio's sire set out from Neumünster a few years ago to conquer the sport and breeding world. Baggio White is one of eight licensed sons from Baggio's first two eligible crops.
Baggio himself is a son of Brantzau, a grandson of the Olympic champion Baloubet du Rouet. Baggio was gently built up and, after winning with top marks in tests for young show jumpers in 2023, went on to achieve many top placings internationally and in the advanced class under Tobias Meyer. He can fascinate with his seemingly unlimited possibilities at every appearance on the show jumping course and invite you to dream about his future career.
Baggio White's dam Octavia is a daughter of the stallion Los Angeles, who died far too young. The son of Light On was celebrated as OS main premium winner in 2012, and in 2013 he won the five-year-old qualifiers for the Bundeschampionat before he died a few weeks later. From just a short period of work, he is the sire of seven licensed stallions and 15 show jumpers placed at advanced (S) level, while his son Pikeur Lemar is successful under Markus Renzel up to 1.50 m jumping competitions. Oliva 16 (by Lyjanero), a half-sister of Octavia, placed in 1.40 m show jumping competitions. The second dam, Onette by Chagallo, is also the granddam of the licensed Hickstead Boy SZ (by Hickstead White). Onette's half-sister Meret, a daughter of the stallion Alasca, is the most successful mare from the Johannsen stud farm in Tarp. She excelled several times in 1.50 m show jumping competitions under Dieter Smitz and Katja Dellert. Meret's son Roger Rabbit (by Ramirado) also placed internationally in the 1.45 m course for Canada. Daughters of the stallions Lacapo and Carneval follow in the maternal pedigree. The doubly talented Lacapo is currently more present than ever in dressage horse breeding through his son Flemmingh, the paternal grandsire of the KWPN stallion Vivaldi.
